Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply whenever you engage Brick & Pixel ("we", "us") to design, build or maintain a website, or to provide SEO services. By agreeing to a proposal or quote from us, you accept these terms.

2. Our services

We provide website design and development, ongoing website maintenance, and SEO marketing services, as described in your individual proposal. The exact scope, deliverables and timeline for your project will be set out in writing before work begins.

3. Quotes and payment

Quotes are ballpark estimates based on the information you give us during your discovery call. A final price is confirmed in your written proposal. Unless otherwise agreed, an initial deposit is payable before work begins, with the balance due on completion or as set out in your proposal. Late payments may delay ongoing work or support.

4. Changes and revisions

Your proposal will outline how many rounds of revisions are included. Additional changes outside this scope may incur extra cost, which we will always confirm with you before proceeding.

5. Intellectual property

Once your project is paid in full, ownership of the final website design and content created specifically for you transfers to you. We retain the right to showcase completed work in our own portfolio unless you ask us not to. Any third-party assets (stock images, fonts, plugins) remain subject to their own licences.

6. Limitation of liability

We take reasonable care in delivering our services, but we don't guarantee specific SEO rankings, traffic levels or business outcomes, since these depend on many factors outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for that service.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
